In presenting these pre-posted messages, I hope to share with the readers of this site a glimpse of the helpful information I have shared with the very people who have created the need for my publishing my messages in this turn leaf book.
Any admonishments to others for giving advice to bird breeders were the result of some fundamental ideas:

1)  "First, do no harm."
Though we may share our personal experiences, we do not have the right to practice veterinary medicine without a license.

2)  Using nutritional supplements, vitamins, herbal treatments, alternative methods for the birds you own, you need to be well informed about the product.  Seek out a qualified avian veterinarian who specializes in alternative medicine.

3)  If  you are breeding birds, be prepared for the job at hand by ordering equipment and supplies needed for the success of the chick's life in your care.
The success of a healthy chick depends on you.

4)  One must not wait until it is too late to get information and the equipment to incubate and hatch successfully the chick if the breeding pair of birds do not follow through.  It is the Aviculturists responsibility to be prepared for this event.
5)  "Give credit where credit is due." Aviculturists should show professional courtesy to others.

6)  Keep the law and stay honest.

7) Twisting the facts is telling untruths.

8)  Personal confidences and sharing should be guarded by both parties.

9) All I Really Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten ( look to the left )

10) It is good to be proud of your personal accomplishments, and to be happy.
